How the Process Works
Step 1 – Decide Which Pool Kit Size and Upgrades you want to purchase.
Kits include all specialty pool hardware and equipment you need to build your ICF pool. The Kits include enough ICF and accessories to build any linear configuration (Rectangle, L, Lazy L, Sport Pool, etc.) with an average depth of 6 feet, this could mean you build a rectangle pool dropping from 4′ to 8′ deep. Select the kit that is the same size or bigger than the exact dimensions you want to build.
Curved pools, such as a kidney design, can be achieved with ICF but require a custom order kit and will be more challenging to build.
The cost of the pool kit does not include the costs of the vinyl liner, shipping, and a few products you will source locally. We are providing estimates of these items to help you understand your full cost of materials. These costs are estimates and can vary by market, especially concrete.
Step 2 – Submit the Form at the bottom of the page with your pool kit and upgrade selections. (Does not include vinyl liner at this point, you will custom order the liner after your pool is poured)
Step 3 – We will be in touch with you to discuss any questions with your order and collect payment.
Step 4 – Kit will ship to your jobsite in 9 – 13 pallets depending on kit size and upgrades purchased. We have a great deal on shipping rates, but these pallets take up roughly half a semi-truck and shipping rates will vary based on market rates and distance to destination.
Step 5 – Build your pool.
Step 6 – Get exact measurements of your pool after it is poured so you can order your custom vinyl liner to fit your pool perfectly. The kit will come with instruction sheets and videos on how to take these measurements. If the liner has many complex shapes, Aaron will be available for consultation sessions to help you measure.
Step 7 – Order your vinyl liner. Currently the lead time on liners is around 2 weeks, it will be custom cut and delivered to you.
Step 8 – Install your vinyl liner.

8′ Thermoplastic Step
While these steps might seem pricey, they will save you time and money on the build. You won’t have to build stairs under the liner, and you avoid that upcharge on the liner! Super durable and easy to care for. If you desire an auto cover these stairs should not be used as they typically sit outside the rectangular shape of the pool. community.
Pentair MicroBrite Light
You can add individual MicroBrites to brighten up your pool, the Kit includes 4 MicroBrites and the 300w transformer, which is plenty of light but we routinely see people use up to 10 on our larger pools. If you plan to use your pool a lot at night and anchor your backyard design around the pool itself adding MicroBrites is a great way to raise the cool factor! The lights come with the plumbing return niche to rough in the wall of the pool, but you do want to figure in the 1″ pvc conduit back to a central yard box or equipment pad!
Pentair IntelliBrite 5G LED Light with niche
This option is for the larger brighter Pentair IntelliBrite 5G with wet niche. This single light can replace the 4 Pentair MicroBrites and transformer included in the kit or it can be added to provide super bright light in a large deep end. The 4 MicroBrites with transformer are more expensive than this single larger light, we can lower the cost of the pool kit by $550 if you choose to delete the 4 MicroBrites and replace with the single IntelliBrite 5G Light.
Shear Decent Waterfall
A shear decent waterfall can be the easiest way to take a typical pool to the next level! This includes the Shear Decent waterfall with embedded RGB LED strip light and remote, as well as all specialty Pentair valves and actuators to fully automate this simple yet elegant design feature! Check out this video about pool kits and fast forward to the 13-minute mark to see this awesome feature in day/night contrast! You can build the raised beam (extended height pool wall) out of any material you desire to match the architecture of the surrounding home or landscape; this is Aaron’s personal favorite feature to add to any pool!
Screen Logic
This item allows you to add remote access to your easy touch automation system! It includes all hardware to connect to your home internet and have access to the screen logic app on your smart phone or tablet.
Coverstar Automatic Pool Covers
We are a dealer for Coverstar Automatic Pool Covers. We can order a custom auto cover and have it shipped directly to your jobsite! It’s best to decide if you will order an auto cover before you order a pool kit because we can remove some parts from your pool kit that you will no longer need if you install an auto cover. This will reduce your pool kit cost a little.
4 x 8 – 2″ Foam Board
If you plan to heat your ICF pool this is a cost-effective addition to place under your floor slab to create a complete thermal break from the ground temperatures surrounding your pool
